Astra implements decades of Latin American exploration and discovery experience to identify highly prospective projects which have the potential to host world-class deposits. The Paleocene Region of northern Chile, and the Deseado Massif of southern Argentina, are two of the most prolific epithermal regions in the world, hosting numerous world-class precious metals deposits.

Our objective is to discover and develop world-class precious metals deposits

The La Manchuria project is a very high-grade gold & silver epithermal deposit located approximately 150km south of the world-class Cerro Negro mine in the prolific Deseado Massif region of Santa Cruz, Argentina.

Pampa Paciencia is a high-grade epithermal gold +/- silver system hosted in the Paleocene epithermal belt of northern Chile, which also hosts the world-class El Peñón Mine approximately 175km to the south. The project also hosts an attractive copper porphyry target, located ~15km from the nearby giant Sierra Gorda and Spence copper mines.
